Requires assembly?

I hope I don’t have to assemble my new mattress.

About half my recent Amazon deliveries have had this happen (I place about 3 small orders a week). Very strange.
I love that modern foam mattresses are shippable. Our last two were via Amazon, total gamechanger to skip the furniture store. And with raised metal platforms, boxsprings are becoming obsolete, too.
I HAVE NOTHING LEFT TO STRAP TO MY ROOF EXCEPT CHRISTMAS TREES.

And once they miss it they’ll tell you to wait two more days before they do anything. Unless you tell them to shove it up their ass, that is.

What mattress you end up going with?

My current mattress was a special ordered super extra firm, I’m going to be pissed if this foam thing takes over because I doubt they will ever equal that.

......well???

I’m a firm mattress sleeper, too — all my life. Foam doesn’t even compare on the traditional firmness scale, IMO. It works well for just about everyone. You just have to get used to it. I’m a convert. Tempurpedic is still the best, but soooo much more expensive.

Ugh. Doesn’t it get all conformed to you shape and then you can’t move and isn’t it hot? I need to be freezing.

I recently got a mattress in a box from Wayfair, and I love it.

Nowadays you just take it out of the box and watch it expand to full size ...

The new ones are amazing, they defy physics. The exist mainly because Tempurpedic used to be exactly what you describe, but not anymore. Plus direct-to-consumer sales means a $1,000 mattress 5 years ago is $300 today.
